When you’re a student veteran, finding scholarships can be somewhat difficult based on where you are. Luckily, we have composed a list of scholarship opportunities for those who have served or are currently serving in the US Armed Forces.

Boundless Opportunity Scholarship
This is an opportunity for Student Veterans who are returning from the military and plan to attend a post-secondary school in New Mexico, Utah, or Wyoming. The amount varies and the deadline to submit the application is January 1, 2019.

Ranger Memorial Foundation Scholarship Fund
For US Army Rangers and their families, a scholarship of $1,000 is awarded for those looking to pursue a higher education. There is no state requirement, but there is a high school GPA requirement of 3.0 or higher. The deadline for the application is January 1, 2019.

Daedalian Foundation Descendants Scholarships
Most veteran scholarships focus on students who directly served in the military, but this opportunity focuses on descendants of members in the Daedalians organization. An amount of $2,000 is awarded to those interested in pursuing an education in Aerospace Engineering and Flight. The application deadline for consideration is January 1, 2019.

Military Child of the Year Award
Outstanding military children who show persistence, leadership, and achievement within their communities receive an award of $10,000. The student must be a legal dependent of a service member in order to be considered. The deadline is December 5, 2018.

Iraq and Afghanistan Service Grant
